Day 7 – Exploring the Ancient Maya World of Honduras 🇭🇳

Day 7 brought Philip and our team deeper into the fascinating Maya history of Honduras!

We explored the incredible Copán Archaeological Site, including the tunnels and museum, discovering more about the art, architecture, and history of this remarkable ancient city.

In the afternoon, we continued our archaeological adventure at El Puente, another important Maya site surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

🌎 Day 6 – From El Salvador to Honduras 🇸🇻🇭🇳

Today, we traveled from Santa Ana, El Salvador, to Copán, Honduras, crossing through Guatemala. The scenic drive was smooth and enjoyable, with easy border crossings along the way.

In the afternoon, we arrived at Luna Jaguar Hot Springs, one of the coolest hot spring experiences in Central America!

Philip enjoyed a relaxing afternoon soaking in the different natural pools, surrounded by beautiful jungle scenery. A perfect way to unwind after a day on the road!

Day 5 – Exploring El Salvador

Another incredible day on our El Salvador & Honduras journey!

Today, we explored Joya de Cerén, the famous “Pompeii of the Americas,” where an ancient Maya farming village was remarkably preserved by volcanic ash.

We then continued to San Andrés, one of El Salvador’s most important archaeological sites and a fascinating center of Maya history and culture.

Another day of discovering the history, traditions, and hidden treasures of El Salvador with Philip! 🇸🇻❤️

FROM A VOLCANO CRATER TO ANCIENT MAYA RUINS IN ONE DAY! 🇸🇻

Day 4 with Philip and our crew was EPIC! 🌋🥾

We conquered Ilamatepec (Santa Ana Volcano), El Salvador’s highest volcano, and reached the summit to admire its incredible sulfur crater lake and breathtaking views of Lake Coatepeque!

Then we switched from adventure to history at Tazumal, one of El Salvador’s most fascinating archaeological sites, with thousands of years of Mesoamerican history waiting to be discovered. 🏛️

🇸🇻 Day 3 – Cinquera & Santa Ana, El Salvador

Day 3 of our El Salvador & Honduras journey with Philip Kane took us to the historic town of Cinquera, El Salvador, where nature and history come together in a truly meaningful experience.

We explored the beautiful natural reserve and had the opportunity to meet Rafael, a former guerrilla fighter, who shared his personal experiences and stories from El Salvador’s Civil War. Hearing history directly from someone who lived through those difficult years made this visit especially powerful and unforgettable.

After an incredible day of history, culture, and nature, we continued our journey toward Santa Ana, where we settled in for the next chapter of our adventure.
