Sailing with Dimitris turned out to be a life time experience for us.We were two couples sailing for the first time,so naturally we were a bit worried initially.However this soon cleared away because of his vast experience and familiarity with the sea made us feel safe and relaxed.Not only does he handle the boat well but more importantly he knows what is ahead and is well prepared for it ,paying special attention to safety.Also after you discuss your preferences with him, he suggests options for the next day,letting you choose which you prefer. These suggestions always proved right.By the way his cappuccino is exceptional.As far as the boat is concerned it is very well kept and really clean.Lots of things such as sails,dinghy, outboard etc, are brand new.All in all it is ideal for two couples as the cabins ,the saloon and the cockpit are comfortable.Needless to say we had a fantastic time with Dimitris ,we will be returning next year and we definitely recommend him. His boat is well maintained, he takes great care in it- and expects you to do the same. He is a true sailor and great teacher. While you may have your heart set on seeing specific islands, listen to his advice on where to go based on wind and weather, as he really wants you to have the best time ever. Loved his connections at amazing hidden gems on every island we visited. Loved his knowledge of history and the easy conversation. He is respectful of private time and space, in spite of living in such close quarters. We had some rough seas on our return but we always felt safe and confident in his sailing ability. A wise man once said "It's not Disneyland, its a country!" but Dimitris certainly made it Disneyland to us. Thank you Dimitris! Neg: In essence, nothing! Pos: We took our very first sailing trip with Dimitrios. It couldn't have been any better and we couldn't recommend more highly. Dimitrios was a fantastic host from start to finish and his experience as a skipper made a real difference in choosing a route that allowed us to take advantage of the conditions when it suited and to see as much as we could of the beautiful islands in the Saronic/Argolic. Dimitrios sail boat was spacious enough for two couples. The boat is full of character and Dimitrios regularly makes little upgrades to the finish and interior. Our two cabins were comfortable for two couples with a little wardrobe and skylight in each and enough space at the end of the bed to get changed etc. The salon was lovely and there is a nice space in the cockpit with a folding table with space for drinks. We loved having lunch out here when anchored up! We also loved the endless excellent coffee! Most of all I think we really appreciated leaving all of the potentially stressful tasks to Dimitrios to sort out such as anchoring up, finding a berth to tie up, paying the mooring fees, planning the route etc. It really takes the stress away, and even an experienced group should think about that. It was wonderful to properly relax for an entire week and have nothing more to worry about than the wind! A terrific holiday and, as I said, I couldn't recommend Dimitrios and his yacht more highly. Pos Dimitris was an excellent skipper! It was just my boyfriend and me for a week with Dimitris and we had a wonderful time. I was the first time sailing for both of us and DImitris made us feel so comfortable. He taught us all kinds of things about sailing ( how to tie knots, but up the sails, drop anchor, drive, dock, etc) and was a great pleasure to be around. He is so funny and a really great guy. He gave us options each day on where we could go given the weather conditions for the day. It was such a wonderful adventure and holiday. Let him know honestly the type of sailing vacation you would like to have and he will make it happen from adventure to relaxation, he knows all of the spots. Pos My wife and I both appreciated how friendly Dimitris was. His experience sailing made every moment of our trip fee relaxed and stress free. Since Dimitris has been sailing the islands for so long he knows all the great spots to stop and swim as well as the best taverns for diner. He takes great pride in his boat and it shows by how well its kept. Dimitris went out of his way to help us find the little things that we were looking for on the islands. Pos: We sailed with Dimitris around the island of the Saronic Gulf for a week. He is polite and an excellent host. We had a great time. He knows well how to handle the boat, where to stop for a swim , how to make the most of the weather conditions. At all times we didn't have to worry about anything. Moreover his suggestions concerning food and entertainment were ideal. The boat is in perfect condition. Everything works fine so you can fully enjoy your holiday. Pros: We stayed a total of 5 nights on Dimitris' sailing boat. We had a great time - both sailing and enjoying the beautiful small Greek islands Sifnos & Kythnos as well as the astonishing bay at Sounio. Dimitris is really passionate about sailing, the sea and his boat while always having a smile on his face - this is definitively infectious :-) We did not have easy sailing conditions - but Dimitris is a very experienced sailor who brought us through rather challenging weather & sea conditions very safely. He always made us aware of pros and cons of each possible route, so we could adjust the trip that it best suited our individual needs while taking into account the limits set by the weather. Dimitris gave us great recommendations for e.g., authentic small Greek Taverns, a local honey producer, etc. off the usual touristic hotspots! Cédric

Pros: From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family. Dimitris is that sea-faring uncle your parents keep telling you about - the one with the cool boat. The boat was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we discussed a couple of potential options for our short trip, with Dimitris suggesting some of his favourite options.
