Κάθε φορά που βγάζω βόλτα φίλους ή επισκέπτες από το εξωτερικό τους κάνει μεγάλη εντύπωση ο τεράστιος αριθμός εγκαταλελειμμένων σπιτιών και κτιρίων γενικότερα. Είναι από τις πρώτες απορίες τους μαζί με το αν είναι υποχρεωτικό το κράνος ή όχι στις μηχανές αλλά το δεύτερο είναι άλλη κουβέντα. Είδα αυτό το σπιτάκι σήμερα και ευάλωτος όπως είμαι στη θέα παρατημένων σπιτιών σκέφτηκα: Κάποτε ήταν ένα συμπαθές σπιτάκι δίπλα στον Ιλισό που το βασικό (ίσως και μόνο) του πρόβλημα ήταν τα κουνούπια και η μυρωδιά του ποταμού. Εγώ δεν πρόλαβα τίποτα από τα δύο γιατί το ποτάμι είχε ήδη στρωθεί όταν πρωτοάνοιξα τα μάτια μου. Από τη δεκαετία του 80 και μετά το ίδιο σπίτι θα έχασε το μέτρημα στο πόσα πρεζονταλαβέρια έγιναν κοντά του αν όχι μπροστά του. Τουλάχιστον του περιόρισαν την κίνηση των αυτοκινήτων εδώ και πολύ καιρό και είχε αρκετή ησυχία σε σχέση με άλλα σημεία της περιοχής. Σήμερα είναι σε αυτή την κατάσταση οπότε τι να του πουν τα κουνούπια και οι πρέζες...

Got bored of my old trips? Hope not but that's probably the last I can make presentable with the help of AI on those poor original cell phone pictures from 2007 so that's it with the past. Ladies and gents, that's the first trip I ever did on my current bike and yes, I still have it 17 years later and it still runs as strong! How could I knew when I bought it that it would be beyond VFM. Enjoy:
