We recently spent a week at Stella Blue Seaside Resort in Crete for a girls’ trip and, despite a slightly disappointing check-in experience, we ended up having a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.
The resort itself is beautiful, with stylish aesthetics throughout and a clean, well-maintained feel. There are a variety of room categories to suit different budgets and preferences, including swim-up rooms which are perfect if you’re looking for that extra touch of luxury.
We ate at both the Ble and Ocean à la carte restaurants during our stay, and both were excellent. The staff really made the experience special. The buffet restaurant offered a more limited selection than some resorts we’ve visited, but everything was fresh, hot, and well-prepared. Breakfast, in particular, had a good variety and plenty of choice.
One of the standout features was the relaxed atmosphere around the resort. It has a chilled, laid-back vibe that made it easy to switch off and unwind. The poolside waiters were amazing throughout the week, always friendly, attentive, and happy to help.
The facilities are also fantastic. The spa is absolutely gorgeous and well worth a visit, while the gym is modern and well-equipped with the addition of reformer Pilates beds.
The seafront setting is stunning, and every evening we were treated to the most incredible sunsets and colourful skies. It was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing week away with friends.
Overall, Stella Blue Seaside Resort gave us exactly what we needed for our girls’ trip, relaxation, good food and cocktails and beautiful surroundings. We left feeling refreshed and would happily return.
