We are seeking a detailed oriented and experienced Procurement Officer to Manage our company’s activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost effective procurement of goods and services, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best term.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts and agreements.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues relating to delivery, quality and supply.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase, pricing and agreements.
• Work closely with other departments to determine procurement needs and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and ethical policies in procurement activities.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

REQUIRES QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience as a procurement officer or a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, supply chain management and suppliers/vendor management.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft office suite.
