Allowing you stay with a family within a pristine community with its policy on responsible tourism recognize by the Gambian Tourism Authority (KART). Kartong is a retreat community with a population of about 5000 inhabitants consisting of 7 ethnic groups in which the Manding is the most spoken

language. It is located within the South Coast of the Gambia in Western Region, about 48 kilometers from the Capital Banjul and 35 kilometers from the airport.
