Sydgrønland var stærkt repræsenteret på PDAC Convention i Toronto, hvor omkring 100 deltagere med relation til Grønland deltog i verdens største konference for råstofindustrien.
På konferencen deltog flere repræsentanter fra Sydgrønland – både fra det lokale erhvervsliv, herunder Sermeq Helicopters og 60 North Greenland, samt repræsentanter fra Naalakkersuisut, Inatsisartut, kommunen og andre aktører i regionen 📍💫
På trods af forskellige perspektiver på mineindustrien var det fælles, at Sydgrønland som region var synligt til stede.
Deltagelsen gav mulighed for at møde internationale virksomheder, investorer og samarbejdspartnere – og samtidig vise, at Sydgrønland rummer både lokale kompetencer, servicevirksomheder og stærke lokalsamfund 🗺️
Interessen for Grønland er i øjeblikket stor, og udviklingen i råstofsektoren fylder naturligt i mange samtaler om regionens fremtid. Derfor er det også vigtigt, at stemmer og erfaringer fra Sydgrønland er repræsenteret, når der tales om udvikling i Arktis 🌍

South Greenland was well represented at the PDAC Convention in Toronto, where around 100 participants with ties to Greenland took part in the world's largest conference for the mineral resources industry.
The conference was attended by several representatives from South Greenland – both from the local business community, including Sermeq Helicopters and 60 North Greenland, as well as representatives from Naalakkersuisut, Inatsisartut, the municipality, and other players in the region 📍💫
Despite different perspectives on the mining industry, the common thread was that South Greenland as a region was visibly present.
Participation provided an opportunity to meet international companies, investors, and partners – while demonstrating that South Greenland offers local skills, service companies, and strong local communities 🗺️
Interest in Greenland is currently high, and developments in the mineral resources sector naturally feature in many discussions about the region's future. It is therefore also important that voices and experiences from South Greenland are represented when discussing development in the Arctic 🌍
