IMPORTANT NOTICE β RRS RECOVERY & RAC
Over the last few days, we have been contacted by several recovery operators who have been given the impression that RRS Recovery has βlostβ its RAC contract.
We therefore feel it is important to clarify the position and protect the reputation of our business.
RRS Recovery made the decision that we no longer wished to continue our working relationship with RAC, and we formally notified RAC of our decision to terminate that relationship.
This was a commercial decision made by RRS after careful consideration.
There are contractual matters concerning the termination which remain between RRS and RAC, and we will not be discussing those publicly.
However, given that we have now been contacted by several operators regarding suggestions that we simply βlostβ the RAC contract, we feel it is necessary to correct that impression.
The decision that RRS no longer wished to continue the working relationship originated with us, and notice of that decision was given by us to RAC.
We are making this statement solely to protect the reputation of RRS Recovery and to ensure that our customers, staff, suppliers and colleagues within the recovery industry are aware of the correct position.
We also currently have vehicles in our storage facilities which were originally recovered on behalf of RAC.
If you are an RAC customer and believe your vehicle is currently being stored with RRS Recovery, please contact us directly. Your vehicle remains secure and we can confirm the information we currently hold regarding it.
We are awaiting arrangements regarding the onward movement of those vehicles.
Our decision regarding RAC does not affect our other recovery operations, customers or commercial partners. RRS Recovery continues to operate as normal.
Thank you to our customers, staff and industry colleagues for their continued support.
