York Pullman Bus Company is the largest privately owned coach and bus operator in York with a rich heritage of serving local people going back to the 1920’s. Operating a fleet of over 40 vehicles from it’s base in Rufforth, the company provides a diverse range of passenger transport services. These include school transport, private hire and conference work as

well as operating numerous coach trips into Europe for skiing, sightseeing and educational visits. York residents will be familiar with the traditional Maroon and Cream livery made famous by the Pullman railway carriages.

SERVICE UPDATE

Due to an ongoing police incident, York Rail Station is currently closed.

As a result, the following diversions are in place:

🚌 Services 16 & 37 will operate via Nunnery Lane and Skeldergate.

🚌 Service 21 will operate direct from Bishopthorpe Road to Piccadilly and return via Skeldergate.

🚌 Services 36 & X36 will terminate at Merchantgate.

🚌 College Connect will terminate at Blossom Street and turn around via Nunnery Lane.

Please note that services will only pick up and set down at their normal stops on the routes being operated. No additional stops will be served along diversion routes. The exception is College Connect, which will pick up and drop off passengers on Blossom Street.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank customers for their patience while this incident is dealt with.

Please expect slight delays while these diversions are in place. For live bus tracking and service information, download the myTrip by Passenger app.

The 197 shuttle will operate from York Railway Station direct to York Racecourse £2.50 single £4 return. Please note new stops are further down Queen Street, still the same stop RJ

You can pay cash or contactless on the day, shuttles from the Station operate from 1045 until 1400 and start again from 1630 at the Racecourse.
