Once again a huge thank to everyone who has donated to our GoFundMe page so far, the relocation cost more than the original target so we have now increased it to help cover the shortfall. We hope you can consider making a donation here

and enable more funds to be allocated directly to the restoration.

The boiler and frames have now been successfully relocated to a private site near Templecombe for storage until funds are reached to place a contract with a heritage engineering company to commence work on the rolling chassis.
General Steam Navigation is now entering its next phase, of procurement and fabrication of parts associated with the restoration of the rolling chassis and focusing Bulleid’s chain driven valve gear housed within the oil bathfor more details see here https://news.35011gsn.co.uk/

Thank you to all members and shareholders that attended our Annual General Meetings today at The Yeovil Railway Centre.
A positive weekend overall also with our stand at the South West Miniature Engineering Exhibition and other key moves achieved.

Day two with our display, sales and membership stand at The South West Miniature Engineering Show that has a Bulleid theme with lots of Bulleid models at Newton Abbot Racecourse today.
