We are after an image that really stands out - whether it be an image taken from your boat in the harbour, a sunset/sunrise from the outer mooring buoys, a stroll along the pier, whatever you think will look fantastic and captivating to our visitors.

A lot goes on behind the scenes at Yarmouth Harbour!

Our maintenance team have been working hard to help keep the harbour a safe environment for everyone.

Recently on the Breakwater, they’ve been replacing rotten sections and carrying out improvements to strengthen its structure and keep it in good condition.

They’ve also been busy replacing sections of the groynes on Sandhard Beach, helping to maintain this important part of our coastline.

A big thank you to our hardworking maintenance team for all their efforts in maintaining the harbour to the highest and safest of standards

Have you ever wanted to see what it’s like onboard an Atlantic rowing boat?

We caught up with Lottie, one half of the 'Exploring Duo' team at the Southampton Boat Show, to get the inside scoop on the team’s ambitious plans and discover what goes into preparing for such a huge challenge.

Setting off from the Canary Islands this December, Lottie and her partner Ethan will be heading across the Atlantic towards Antigua, with their journey expected to take between 50 and 55 days!

"No engine, no sails, no support, not with the goal of victory but rather the aim of showing the power of preparation, perseverance, training and ex*****on, while helping raise money for others in the process"

But what does it take to prepare for life out on the open ocean? From planning the logistics to packing everything they’ll need for the entire crossing, every detail matters. With no opportunity to resupply once they leave shore, making sure every essential item is accounted for is a crucial part of the expedition.

Are you looking to book your next rally? If so, Yarmouth is the perfect destination for you.

With great facilities, a range of services to make your stay as easy as possible and Yarmouth town located right alongside the harbour, there’s no need to go far to enjoy everything Yarmouth has to offer.

Take a stroll around the town, browse the independent shops and gallery, or stop for something to eat or drink at one of the cafés, pubs and restaurants.

⛵ What you need to know for booking a rally

Rallies need to be arranged in advance and are subject to confirmation.

To get things started, email [email protected] with:

• Your name and contact details
• Your preferred arrival date
• How long you’ll be staying
• The estimated number of boats attending (minimum 5 vessels)

Our Rally Coordinator will then get in touch to discuss your plans, check availability and confirm the arrangements.

⚓ Rally Berthing Discount

Boats using the rally pontoon receive a 10% discount on overnight visitor berthing fees.

Please note:

• The discount does not apply during July and August
• There are no Saturday rally arrivals in July
• There are no Friday or Saturday rally arrivals in August
• Some bank holiday weekends have restricted arrival dates, so please check when booking.

All rallies are only confirmed once approved by Yarmouth Harbour Commissioners.
