Sorry to mention winter before summer has really got going.... however, we wanted to give you plenty of notice that applications for winter moorings at Yarmouth Harbour are now open.

From 1st October, our winter berths offer a safe and sheltered home for your boat throughout the season.

Set within the historic town of Yarmouth, the harbour provides excellent facilities, a friendly and experienced harbour team, and easy access to local restaurants, shops, and coastal walks.

Whether you're looking for peace of mind over the winter months or a convenient base from which to enjoy the Island, Yarmouth is a wonderful place to be.

Winter berths are always popular, so if you'd like to join us this season, we recommend booking early to secure your space.

Application forms are available via our website or you can pop in to the harbour reception.

If you haven't discovered Word of Mouth Café in Yarmouth yet, it's well worth a visit.

This friendly family-run café has built up a great reputation for good food, excellent coffee and a genuinely warm welcome. Whether you're popping in for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, or just meeting friends for a chat, it's one of those places that makes you feel at home.

What many people don't realise is that Word of Mouth is also fully licensed, so you can enjoy a glass of wine, a beer or your favourite drink while relaxing in the heart of Yarmouth. You can also book the venue for a private event!

Word of Mouth have also been doing a fantastic job bringing the community together through their music evenings. These events have become increasingly popular, providing a great night of live entertainment while helping to raise money for local charities and good causes across the Island.

We recently caught up with Whittle Marine to learn more about their business and the incredible history behind the classic boats they restore.

Nick and his team are exceptionally skilled, with a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for preserving these beautiful vessels.

It's fantastic to know that traditional boat restoration skills are being kept alive, helping to ensure these beautiful boats remain on the water for generations to come.
