On this page we will bring you the latest development still the final detail design of our project. “Why can’t an aircraft fly in reverse?” That was the question we were pondering upon when we decided to engage myself in this project. After a few nights of reflection we started coming into terms with the possibility of this idea and soon enough the aircraft wasn’t just able to fly in reverse but t
o do manoeuvre that were not even thought about in the past. The initial concept is to allow the rotation of the wings of the aircraft along the x-axis and the rotation of the engines (propellers) along the X and Y-axis. This should enable the aircraft to move in any directions at any given time, thus the term XYZ. And since we believe this will be just the first version to come, we hence decided to add the Vone. Thus the name project xyz-Vone. We quickly discovered that the initial design of our aircraft resembled the one of the Osprey prop, so we then decided to use that as a starting point to begin building the detail design of project XYZ-Vone.
