Another great piece of work from the design team. 👏

Working closely with the customer, we developed a collapsible crate for automotive parts - built to provide protection during storage and transpor,t while also making handling and return logistics more practical.

Polyethylene foam is a good material for protective packaging, with physical properties that make it possible to build in the right level of protection for each application.

It can be supplied as a standard option or shaped into something more specific depending on what the job requires. 👍

Monday morning done right!

The Elitron is set up today to machine custom corrugated packaging for a pharmaceutical customer, who needs to protect high value medical equipment.

Both the inserts and outer cases are being produced on the machine, with total accuracy. A combination of precision and repeatability is exactly why this machine suits these type of packaging jobs so well. 👍

Reducing our environmental impact is something we're continually working on at IPS. 🤝

So far, that's included: improving factory insulation, adding low energy lighting throughout the production area with timers and sensors to help reduce unnecessary energy use, along with adding control systems for heating and hot water.

We have also introduced a number of other initiatives across the business.
