A tough but important day of racing at Oulton Park for Anesu Maphumulo. 💪🏁

Battling through an illness and infection, Anesu showed real determination just to get out and compete across both races in the Number 33 RABsport Racing Ginetta Junior.

Race 2 saw him fight through to P22 overall and P3 Freshman, while Race 3 showed a big step forward in racecraft and confidence — running as high as P18 overall and P2 Freshman before getting caught up in an incident with two other cars that ended the race in the gravel.

A lot learned this weekend, and a clear improvement in how Anesu is learning to race hard, defend, attack and fight in the midfield battles. The progress is showing every time he’s on track. 🔥

🏎️ Race 1 Recap: Hard-fought progress at Oulton Park 🇬🇧🏁

A challenging but valuable opening race in the Cheshire sunshine. Starting P20 on Row 10, Anesu Maphumulo ( #33) lined up in a competitive 26-car grid.

With track temperatures hitting a warm 35.2°C, the margins were incredibly thin and small mistakes carried a heavy price. A couple of tough mid-race moments dropped Anesu down the order, but he didn't back down. He dug deep, went wheel-to-wheel in some intense midfield battles, and fought aggressively for every single position across the 10 laps.

A 5-second track limits penalty left him classified in P26, but the result doesn't show the clear progress made in his racecraft and confidence since weekend one.

We are resetting the data and shifting 100% of our focus to climbing the order in Race 2 on Monday! 📊💪

Qualifying complete ✔️🏁

A brilliant step forward for Anesu Maphumulo at Oulton Park, delivering his best qualifying results to date with P20 for Race 1 and P19 for Race 2. 💪

After knocking over a second off his testing times across the weekend, the progress keeps building for the RABsport Racing Ginetta Junior driver.

3 days of hard graft done 👌 Countless pit stops, driver changes, repairs, strategy calls and zero let-up from the entire team. 💪🏁

A huge effort from every driver and crewmember across the BRSCC Silverstone 24 Hours weekend. everyone dug deep to grind a solid final result!

RABsport engineered the 284 PK4Fun Citroën C1 Endurance entry, alongside fully running the 346 JLM by RABsport and 432 RABsport cars throughout the event

Results to be proud of:
🥈 284 – P2 European Class
🥉 346 – P3 UK C1 Pro Class
👏 432 – P12 UK AM Class, with 2 drivers competing in their first ever race weekends and bringing the car home after 24 hours of racing.

The results only tell part of the story — the teamwork, commitment and determination behind the scenes from everyone involved was exceptional all weekend. Onto the next one. 🔧🔥
