Elrose Cottage aims to help you keep your precious memories alive. Specialising in baby clothing and gorgeous themed fabrics I will lovingly use them to make beautiful, unique bunting and specially handmade buttons for button art. ther than having clothes hidden away in cupboards, drawers and lofts! Bespoke keepsake bunting is £2 per flag plus 50p per letter for personalisation. I take a careful look at the clothing and fabric collection before matching in the glitter fabric lettering and bunting binding. If you don't have baby or children's clothing but would like themed bunting I can work with this too. Fairies, Princesses, Dinosaurs, Trains or simply a colour theme (plus grown up themes too!) - I'm happy to create something special and can source fabric to match your idea! Specially handmade buttons for large button art is £30 for either a 12' x 12' canvas or 14' x 11' frame. I use baby clothing or specially chosen fabric to make all my own buttons, creating a truly individual piece. Letters or Numbers are available. The bunting and button art compliment each other perfectly and for a special price of £50 you can have both! I also offer high quality photo and canvas prints adorned with handmade buttons using the clothing seen in the photograph or other stunning fabrics. A unique deep photo frame plus handmade button embellishment is £20. High quality, deep canvas print plus handmade button embellishment £POA depending on size. It is with very mixed emotions that I post to let you all know that Elrose will be closing until further notice. I have loved every high & grown from every low that the last 5 years have given to me. After over 4000 orders I now know just how hard I can work, that I can run my own successful business full time and work around my wonderful family. I’ve made lifelong friends and grown resilience from those who copy. I cannot thank all of you enough for your support, patience and encouragement - without you Elrose wouldn’t be where it is.
My reason for leaving? A dream job. At a time when I was least expecting it my dream job came up, I went for it and got it - and I’m proud to say that I’m the General Manager for the Severn Stars . Working with elite netballers is just incredible, especially at a time when the sport is on such a high.
I’ve been working a full time job and taking orders since September; taking my time to ensure it’s right for me. I’m not ashamed to say that doing both has put me under too much pressure and had a detrimental effect on my customer service at times. Please be assured that every order has now been shipped and again, thank you to everyone for all your orders and for being incredibly patient.
I may be back, but in the meantime I’m going to enjoy my evenings and spend more time with my family and friends (who I also sincerely thank).
