PRESENTING PRIZES at Allens Hill Competition Centre this morning 🏵️ for the 2026 BD Quest Club League.

We supplied the winning adult team and the winning junior team with a £300 cash prize. Ocean Blue Equine supplied wonderfully goodie bags for the teams too!

Well done everyone 👏 it’s been wonderful to support AH and the winning teams.

Kumi 😍

We collected this gorgeous girl as a foal with her momma! Today we’ve just been helping her owners move them fields on foot but it was lovely to have a cuddle!

What a way to watch him retire …

It’s very fitting that the journey ends here at HOYS. One final tick on the bucket list. One final big show. And an absolute privilege to watch and be a part of the horse he has become.

5 years ago I didn’t know Siobhan or Harry. S was a client who hired once or twice. I’d taken her out to a gallops once on another horse. I was then commissioned to go and pick Harry up when S bought him and that was the start of a 4+ year plan to go to every major show in the country. She asked if I would aid her in this quest and I agreed.

WE DID IT.

This terrified little horse that had a horrible start to life found a partner who will love and cherish him forever. And found me. Who now he will ONLY load for… 🤣

The first ever big show? Royal Windsor. I remember I had to get out of bed at stupid o’clock and Harry was so tense the judge didn’t even open his canter for fear he may not come back … 😎.

I now have one of my closest friends in S. We’ve travelled the country. She’s listened to me b*tch about early starts. We’ve cried. We’ve laughed. We’ve loved the journey.

Harry can now enjoy his retirement from showing. They can just enjoy hacking and playing from here on in.

🏵️ 5TH PLACE AT HOYS FOR SIOBHAN DALLAWAY AND ‘DREAM ON HARRY’ 🏵️

Harry was a little starstruck in the arena but behaved beautifully.

WHAT A BOY! 🐎 Thank you for everyone’s well wishes. It’s a very happy ending here at HOYS in the SFAS Show Cob Class.

I am truly proud to have been ‘the support team’ for this pair. I’ve been groom, transporter, emotional support donkey, actual donkey and their biggest fan throughout the last few years. I’ll do a full tribute to this amazing journey another day. For now, cheers 🥂.

HOYS BOUND! 🎉

We’ve got Harry in the Class 28E, SFAS Maxi Show Cob class tomorrow at 4.30pm.

It’s been a 4 year long road but this fantastic pair and I have been to every major show in the country for the show cob classes. And it all finishes here tomorrow regardless of the results.

🤞 for a good show tomorrow. It’s going to be emotional …
