Huge changes are afoot at Translink Express Logistics!

Our Leicestershire-based Shareholder Member has announced a record 32 per cent growth over the last two years - and has made four senior leadership appointments as it looks towards marking its 40th anniversary in style.

The family-owned and run business will celebrate the milestone next July and will look back on the summer of 1987 when it started out as a small parcel delivery company with just one vehicle and driver.

At Pallet-Track, we take our commitment to the environment seriously. 🌍

It’s why we’re proud to announce that our latest investment has helped us achieve a major reduction in carbon emissions.

We’ve worked closely with the team at Calor Gas to convert our 150-strong fleet of forklift trucks to run on BioLPG.

The move has enabled us to achieve an 84 per cent reduction in carbon emissions compared to the previous standard LPG fuel – a saving of 1,376 tonnes of Co2.

And the impact of this change is huge.

This simple change has cut our entire operational carbon footprint by 15.25 per cent, based on current emissions – a huge win for our new ESG strategy and an even bigger win for the environment. 🙌

A fleet refresh has put our Oxfordshire Shareholder Member in top gear as it drives towards significant growth.

Abingdon Freight Forwarding Agency (AFFA), which joined our network more than 20 years ago, has made a major investment to add 10 new vehicles to its fleet. 🚛

The additions will support the ongoing growth of AFFA’s core road freight and pallet delivery services, while dual-branded curtains will celebrate its long-standing partnership with Pallet-Track.

Alongside its fleet, AFFA is also investing in its team, with 24-year-old Harry Bonser recently promoted to the role of general manager, after joining the company as a Class 1 HGV driver at just 21.

Our West Yorkshire Shareholder Member is going the extra mile with its sustainability investments.

JODA Freight has invested more than a quarter of million pounds in green technology as it actively works to reduce its carbon emissions. ♻️

The firm has installed solar panels on the roof of its warehouse and has already transitioned its diesel forklift trucks to electric.

Its aim is to generate and store enough solar power to be able to charge its entire electric forklift fleet daily, while further investments in electric vehicles are planned for later in the year.

We’re proud to announce further support for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity as a result of our long-term partnership with Walsall FC Official! 🙌

The Saddlers have taken on the life-saving charity as secondary official charity partner for the 2026-27 season thanks to an introduction from our team. 🤝

The club will be supporting the organisation’s vital work via its official charity, the Walsall FC Foundation. ⚽

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will have two ‘takeover’ days at Walsall, where they can bring mascots to the stadium, merchandise to sell, hold raffles and conduct fundraising.

Our dedicated Pallet-Track volunteers will also be present to maximise the fundraising efforts, because we believe we’re stronger together.

Plus, we’ll be donating a halfway line pitch-side advertising board to the charity again this year to raise as much awareness as possible.

👌Looking good, Trailer Freight International Ltd!

The West Bromwich-based logistics specialist is marking a year of growth by adding three new trailers to its fleet - all Pallet-Track dual-branded to celebrate its Shareholder Membership, after joining us in 2021.

Trailer Freight holds platinum status from Pallet-Track, recognising more than a 99% delivery performance.

It also came ‘highly commended’ in the outstanding growth category at the 2026 Pallet-Track Gala, held at The Belfry and hosted by comedian Jack Dee.

Today our colleagues, Cerys and Freya attended the Wolverhampton Grand Memory Café.

They supported the incredible team on site delivering an inclusive space for those living with Dementia to come together with their family and carers. Enjoying beautiful poetry and songs whilst reliving some very special memories.

Head of safety, health, environment and quality (SHEQ), Anthony Ratchford, has gained one of the logistics industry’s highest distinctions after being named a Chartered Fellow with The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT).

Congratulations to Anthony on achieving this hard-earned peer recognition! 🍾

It follows a year of major achievements for Anthony, who was awarded the Colleague of the Year trophy at our Shareholder Gala in January for the career-defining role he played in our move to Waterways Business Park in Ettingshall.

He has gone above and beyond in his role at Pallet-Track and we are incredibly proud to have him on our team. 👏🏼
