Imagine stepping back aboard a boat you owned nearly 60 years ago…⚓️☀️

Some moments are simply too special not to share.

Today we had the privilege of welcoming a very special guest back aboard Fringilla to celebrate her surprise 83rd birthday. What made it even more remarkable? She was Fringilla’s owner back in 1967.

In those days, Fringilla was moored at Phyllis Court in Henley, where she was at the heart of family life - sunny afternoon picnics on the river, birthday celebrations, leisurely cruises and unforgettable Henley riverside events. Looking through the original photographs and hearing the stories brought her history vividly to life.

Almost 60 years later, Fringilla is still doing exactly what she was built to do: bringing people together to celebrate life’s most treasured moments. Today she carries families from across the UK and around the world, creating new memories on the River Thames in Windsor whilst honouring the generations that came before.

To the wonderful family who entrusted us with this surprise, thank you for letting us be part of such an emotional and unforgettable day. It was a true privilege to see Fringilla reunited with someone who loved her all those years ago.

When the vintage boat becomes part of the show 🤩🎙️✨

A recent collaboration saw our client exclusively hire Oakley Court in Windsor for an unforgettable VIP experience, every detail was designed to impress.

Guests arrived in style by luxury boat before enjoying a gourmet dining experience, followed by a truly spectacular live performance by a chart topping artist. The evening’s concert began aboard our boat Larus, with the artist performing on our aft deck against the stunning backdrop of the River Thames. As Larus arrived at Oakley Court, our crew escorted the award winning artist ashore where the show continued for guests at the venue.

It’s a reminder that our beautiful vintage boats are much more than transport. Whilst we’re well known for luxury celebrations and boat hire experiences in Windsor, our vessels also provide unique settings for filming, photography, brand activations, product launches and even live music performances.

Earlier this summer we welcomed award-winning journalist Emily Davison and her guide dog Rosie aboard Fringilla as part of Emily's journey exploring Windsor as a partially sighted visitor.

From the gentle rhythm of the river and the sound of wildlife along the banks, to the fresh breeze and unique perspective from the water, a cruise aboard our vintage boats offer a truly immersive sensory experience. It was wonderful to share Windsor in a way that goes beyond the visual and connects guests with the town through all their senses.
