As I got in at silly o'clock this morning, I noticed my little boy, Six, had his bedroom light on. Going into his room, I found him sitting up in bed, looking very worried.
"Hey Six, what's up?" I asked.
"Were all your passengers nice tonight Daddy?" asked the little voice.
"They were Son"
"And did they all say how nice your AMG Line, LWB, Mercedes Benz S Class 350 was?".
"They did" I replied.
"And did they say what great service you always give them?" he asked, his face breaking out in a smile.
Stroking his hair gently, I told him they did.

He looked up at me with those big ole eyes and said, "Did they all respond to the feedback text you send them after every hire, leaving you a review - as you know it helps your google algorithm, as well highlighting the benefit of using Bay Town Car Services to future clients Daddy, doesn't it!" (They're bright kids these days).
Sadly I had to tell him they didn't.
His lip trembling, his voice shaking he said, "Never mind Daddy, tomorrow maybe".

So if you have traveled with us lately, please look at leaving us a review, not for me, or for BTCS, but for a heartbroken little boy in Whitley Bay.

What airport drivers look like after being up at 0230 every morning for the last 3 weeks to help clients start their holidays. This morning realised I'd buttoned my shirt one side higher than the other after i got back. (Honestly, I shouldn't be allowed out on me own)!

Even though I must have looked like the bug man from Men in Black, our lovely clients were either too polite to mention it, or it was too early for them to notice. Must look in the mirror before I leave in future.

What have we been up to? The bank holiday was all about airports and the R1 Big Weekend. We had numerous journeys over there and back for our clients, who remarked the whole transport experience was, and we quote, "Seamless".
One our clients was a young lady meeting her little sis for her first festival. Mum had kindly given younger sister a bag for life, containing chicken sandwiches, so they "didn't go hungry"! 😆 (We love Mum's).

Suffice to say Daughter was mortified, but still had to check with big Sis, whether or not it was okay to jettison said sandwiches.

As our experience with Radio 1 was "Our Tune and Simon Bates" (look them up kids), we hadn't heard of most of the artiste there, but the weary, smiling faces at the pick-up told us every had a good time in the sunshine.
