2 years ago today our founder Mark Lockie lost his fight with Pancreatic Cancer and passed away. He would be pleased to see that the business he created is still going and in actual fact going from strength to strength. It’s been a difficult 2 years but we are adjusting gradually and finding our way. Have a wee dram for us all!!

An interesting vessel today. A Wally Yacht. Dad worked on several iconic Wally Yachts many years ago so it's now gone full circle and it's my turn. It was certainly unique and felt quite stylish. Even if a little futuristic. Won thing for sure is that you don't buy a Wally to blend into the background. This one certainly doesn't!!

Lets talk Safety Management Systems. (SMS for short).

Within the UK Workboat industry there has been a lot of talk about SMS systems, and certain parts of the industry are now getting close to D-Day and will soon need to comply with Workboat code 3 which means implementing an SMS. Should you need any guidance on this please do give us a call, or drop us a message, whether its implementing a system from scratch or just tweaking a long established system, we are here to help.

There are various systems available however just purchasing one of these isn't the full answer however they will help. The system you choose needs to be tailored to your operation and vessel and should be audited to check compliance.

We are able to provide an systematic impartial view of your operation drawing from our extensive knowledge of the workboat and shipping sectors to guide you and provide a way forwards and always tailoring our services to your particular needs. All our auditors are ISM lead auditors.

Get ahead of the game and book an audit today!
