Extended this Canoe mast to bring it up to black band height. Much more to it than just making it longer.. new spreader bracket, rigging and halyards too!

New boat day! 🚀 super happy with how this one has turned out. Now to put it though it’s paces and up to speed! Thank you to Allen Sailing for supplying top quality hardware (thank you for the emergency last minute order!), to for the rope, for the Mast and for the horsepower 💪

🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨

Dorset Board and Boatworks is officially REOPENING FULL TIME! 🛠️🌊

From Monday 29th June, we’ll be back full-time and ready to go, so get booked in now to beat the rush!

Handover day! 🚀 Super happy with how this International Canoe has turned out. Mr F couldn’t stop smiling which made it all worth while. On to the next one! Thank you to for the fittings packs and to my Wife for your patience.

It’s been a while. So what’s been happening? The next few posts will explain all..
We will start where we left the last post, NEW BOAT TIME 😁 My first canoe built by me for me! Turns out it’s a rocket ship 🚀 1st at Poole YC open, 1st Weston SC open and then National and Europa cup champion! She now has a new owner which I’m super happy about and look forward to seeing Pink Panther on the circuit!

The Pink Panther lives! Test sail done and all went rather well! Super happy with how it’s turned out and can’t wait to get my teeth into sailing this beast. Big thanks to Allen Sailing and for your support with this project and my amazing Fiancé Grace, for being so patient! Let’s go sailing!
