Peak fulfilment fees follow the parcel, not the calendar.

From 15 October to 14 January, fees are based on the date the parcel ships to the buyer, not the date your stock arrived at FBA.

So stock sent in August can still be charged peak rates if it leaves the fulfilment centre during the peak window.

A simple way to manage this:

Hold buffer stock with us and release it in smaller batches through peak.

That helps you keep more stock outside FBA and release it as demand requires.

The countdown is on: two dates, one window.

For Prime badge eligibility in Black Friday Week:

• 21 October: FBA minimal shipment splits
• 28 October: FBA Amazon-optimised shipment splits
• 14 October: AWD shipments

For most sellers, 28 October is the operative cutoff. But your stock needs to reach our UK warehouse earlier than that so we can prep, label and book it in on time.

If it isn’t ready by the deadline, you could be watching Black Friday from the sidelines. Missed inbound windows can also mean stock carries into the festive peak fee window, which starts on 15 October.

A returned unit costs more than the refund.

Every parcel may need to be:

Received and logged.
Inspected and graded.
Re-bagged and re-labelled.
Re-stocked, refurbished or disposed of.

That is time, labour and warehouse space. Before the product can be sold again.

Returns can quietly eat into your margin when they pile up or are handled in-house.
