Final jobs completed on the 17ft Riptide dory!

This customer has gone with the small bench seats, stainless steel keel bands and mini electrics package as the optional extras.

Has also supplied their own 30hp Mercury so should be exciting to see how she will perform.

Update on the 17ft Riptide dory.🌊

Work has been consisting of:
Hull Released & trimmed from the mould
Gunwale released, trimmed and finished
Installation of the gunwale
D fender track installed
Bollards installed

The customer has also opted to have:
Rear seat boxes
Front steps for better access onto the for deck
Keel bands

Following jobs are to trim and install both seat boxes, Flocoat all of the interior and to non-slip the floor!

The gunwale was released and trimmed

Next step is to lay the floor, remove the hull from the mould, release and trim.

This week's progress on the 17ft Riptide dory build.🌊

All of the matting and core foam is in place and ready for infusion.

A few facts about vacuum infusion:
•Very light weight product
•Being light in weight it's still extremely strong and stiff.
•With the use of high density closed cell foam it means there is no worry about further maintenance in years to come.
•By being lighter and stronger than the conventional (wet lay) built boat it helps massively with fuel consumption, weight carrying, general handling.

New year new Riptide Dory in build! 😁
Exciting times for us here at WB Marine with the 2nd Riptide dory in build.
This is going to be a 17ft version in iron grey with extra seating and electrical package.

We know its been a while since we last posted, but thats only because we have been extremely busy.

Here are a few pictures of installs that we have completed over the past few months of new Suzuki outboards.

We are a Suzuki marine outboard dealer so if you are thinking of upgrading your outboard this winter then book it in early and give us a call!

The Suzuki outboard range is anything from a 2.5hp all the way up to a 350hp!
