Meet Derek, one of the much-loved leaders based at Hassness House in the Lake District.

Few destinations capture the imagination quite like Norway. 🇳🇴✨

Our walk leader Mary and her group recently discovered this spectacular country on a cruise and walk holiday, exploring dramatic fjords, soaking up the local culture and making the most of the entertainment on board. 🚢🥾

And there was even time for a little friendly competition… they won the ship’s quiz! 🏆🎉

Their trip also coincided with the funeral of King Harald V in Oslo. The group found the huge displays of flowers and flags across the city a particularly moving sight. 🌸🇳🇴
