Deer Wars is a good documentary on the early days of helicopters.

This was the really early days of helicopters which were used to cull the massive deer problem in New Zealand. There were 6 million deer and 3m people.
Sir Tim Wallis perfected the catch and release system and became one of the largest deer farmers in the world. He is also an aircraft collector - including a Spitfire and ME109 amongst his collection. Worth googling him.
The helicopter flying was quite unbelievable and this documentary tells that story.
Culling and control does still happen in NZ but nowhere like on the same scale as there are far less deer now.
This old film footage will disappear off the internet one day so get to watch it before it does.
