The famous Wakefield Rhubarb Festival celebrations are back, and we are kicking off 2025 with our first day excursion, therefore you Rhubarb lovers rejoice – WAKEFIELD’S most famous vegetable, join us as they paint the city ‘Pink’, this exciting fun packed festival features over 50 chalets of food, jams, pickles, cheese, baked goods, finest gins Rhubarb flavour of- course, where you can sample and purchase local and regional delights. There’s also lively street entertainment and music, traditional Morris Dancers as well as a wide variety of workshops .~ also cookery demo’s for you to enjoy including surprise celebrity chefs from Great British Bake Off & Master chef. Plus, street food vendors, the Rhu-Bar, restaurants, cafes, The Rhubarb food & drink trail, with more many venues all over Wakefield of course showcasing their best rhubarbs themed tasty treats. There’s arts and crafts, gardening, growing, foraging, the rhubarb trail, family fun activities and so much more.

The Rhubarb Festival centres around the historic gem of Wakefield Cathedral, ~ The Precinct & the Bull Ring in Wakefield. Join us as we travel once again to the beautiful coastal town of SCARBOROUGH, North Yorkshire for the first stop on this overnight mini break, staying at the 4* CROWN SPA HOTEL, blending Victorian charm with modern luxury facing the scenic Yorkshire coastline.
