F&S Gibbs Transport F&S Gibbs We have been established since 1954 as a general haulier originally for the movement of printed and paper waste materials.

We are a family run business which enables us to specialise within many areas of haulage and provide a service that can deal with the difficulties, deadlines and changes that can be faced on day-to-day or even an hourly bases. We have varying sizes of vehicle that operate throughout the UK. We can transport many types of goods such as Frozen/Temperature controlled foods, bulk cereal and aggregate

s, Machinery, Recovery, and all Palletised commodities. Our 25000sq ft warehouse in Warminster, can offer storage either racked or in an open space. We also offer repacking and picking services of any goods, we also can provide secure outside storage. The commercial/industrial machinery workshop with fully qualified mechanics, handles all in house repairs and servicing and is able to take on outside contracts for servicing and repair. HGV Vacancy

Due to new vehicles arriving in March
F&S Gibbs Transport currently require a full time HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for Bulk Tipping and general haulage work.

Your Responsibilities will include:
🚨Carrying out tasked work to a professional standard.
🚨General care of your own allocated vehicle.
🚨Daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
🚨Full compliance with EU driving hours.
🚨This position will have some night outs.
(More if preferred)

The applicant would require a valid C+E driving licence, a Digital Tacho Card (Digicard), and a valid Drivers CPC, (drivers qualification card).
New passes considered.

Job vacancy

F & S Gibbs Transport Services Ltd are looking to recruit a new heavy vehicle mechanic.
The position requires you to work within a team on our own fleet and limited outside customer vehicles.

The role would include:
◦ Scheduled inspections and servicing
◦ MOT preparation and presentation
◦ Fault diagnosis and rectification
◦ Completing associated paperwork

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years experience and hold an NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) accreditation, time served will also be considered. Ideally you will hold a valid class C+E license, although this is not essential as training can be provided.

The position is on a salaried basis plus overtime. The salary will be dependant on experience.

Part time or full time hours considered. Hours to be discussed during the interview process, but it is essential to provide flexibility Monday-Friday with some Saturdays.
