SlurryKat produce a range of silage & bale trailers, drop sided trailers & low loaders all in a range of sizes to suit your application. Section Control in action in Slemsrud, Norway! 👌

This week's Friday video features a recently delivered SlurryKat 18m dribble bar with section control, allowing the operator to adjust the spreading width to suit different tramlines.

With 16m, 15m, 14m and 12m settings available at the touch of a button from the tractor cab, operators can adapt to different field requirements quickly and easily, without interrupting the spreading operation.

I’ve properly tested it, and have to say I’m very pleased. It’s the capacity that impresses me most. With a rate of around 300m³ per hour, the work moves fast. Once you get going, you really power through it.

The 18m working width makes a huge difference, too. It’s far more efficient than driving back and forth all day. The boom follows the contours of the ground well and distributes the slurry very evenly, resulting in a great job without any hassle.

It is with great sadness that we pay tribute to our colleague and friend, Stephen.

Stephen was a much-valued member of the SlurryKat Family, and we were proud to have him working alongside us.

Quiet and unassuming, Stephen was a young man who earned the respect of those around him through his character and work ethic.

Stephen had a genuine passion for welding, took great pride in his work and displayed his faith in Jesus at every opportunity.

Above all, Stephen was a valued friend and colleague. His loss has been deeply felt throughout our entire team, and he will be very sadly missed.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Stephen’s fiancée, Rachel, his parents, Alistair and Denise, his sister, Rachel, and all his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
