It starts off innocently enough…

“We haven’t really got that much to move.”

A few hours later there are boxes in every room, furniture appearing from nowhere, and somehow a garage full of things nobody has looked at for years.

After helping people move across the Calder Valley since 2015, we can confirm one thing: Everybody underestimates how much stuff they have.

🥵☀️ It is VERY common knowledge by now that Dean is not a fan of the heat…

Honestly, if there was an option to move houses in about 14 degrees with a light breeze and cloud cover, he’d be absolutely thriving

But instead, this week we’re carrying sofas, wardrobes and boxes around in what feels like the surface of the sun.

While everyone else is enjoying the sunshine, Dean is still out there helping people move across the Calder Valley, sweating his way through every staircase along the way 😂

So once again, we would just like to officially confirm:

🥤 Cold drinks are deeply appreciated
🍦 Ice lollies make you an instant favourite customer
☂️ Shade = luxury

All jokes aside, we genuinely appreciate everyone who looks after us while we’re out doing the heavy lifting in this weather.

Moving house is hard enough without feeling like you’re melting while carrying wardrobes, sofas and boxes up and down stairs 😅

☀️🥵 It’s going to be an absolute scorcher this weekend… and moving house in this heat is thirsty work!

While everyone else is enjoying the sunshine, Dean and the team will still be out on the road helping people move house, collect furniture and clear properties across the Calder Valley.

And honestly… we’re not massive fans of moving wardrobes and sofas in 25-degree heat 😅

When you’re lifting, carrying and carefully moving people’s prized possessions all day, the heat definitely makes the job that little bit harder.

So if you’re moving this weekend and want to help your friendly local removals guy survive the heatwave…
