New rules for business waste! For anyone who is unaware.

WHAT IS CHANGING?

FOOD WASTE – Inline with household collections starting a year later in March 2026 businesses producing 5kg or more of food waste a week will have to have a separate container and collection arranged for this waste by a licenced waste carrier.

Guidance from 31 March 2025 (or 31 March 2027 for micro-firms) for waste collectors and workplaces on separating dry recyclables, food waste and black bin waste.
