Yesterday we completed sea trials on a Cygnus Cyfish, we have carried out quite a bit of work on this one to get her in good shape for passenger trips at St Ives. We've upgraded the engine to a FPT 450hp, replaced propeller, shaft, seal, bearings and couplings, fitted a custom stainless shelter and canopy, fitted a side access door, fitted spray rails, recoated the deck, fitted a new radar, painted the hull in a new colour scheme and loads more! One of our regular vessels recently developed an oil leak due to a corroded sump. This meant the outdrive and engine had to be removed, a replacement sump is very expensive so we repaired the sump, refitted the engine, carried out a engine and outdrive service, coat of antifoul and carried out successful sea trials.
