Vegetation cutting back - request for qualified contractors

There is some seriously overgrown vegetation in this area of Shore Hill (Cascades) which we need to get cut back as it's affecting a neighbouring property. The area is difficult to access and we are seeking suitably qualified contractors to help us to resolve this problem.

Annual Meetings

Ventnor Town Council's Annual Meeting will be held today (Monday 18th May 2026) at 6pm at the Green Room, Salisbury Gardens. This meeting predominantly deals with appointments to positions in the Council for the year ahead (Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Committees etc.) as well as adopting policies and procedures for the coming year. The Annual Town Meeting will be held at St Catherine’s Church, Church Street on Thursday 21st May 2026 at 6pm. This is a meeting of the community, and its purpose is to discuss town affairs. There will be an update from the Mayor on the Council’s activities over the last year, as well as presentations from organisations in the town.

Members of Press and Public are welcome at both meetings.
