A Romilly built by Van Veet Jactbouw in Norway.
After 20years of polishing the hull, finally I was persuaded to paint the old girl.
We used Awl-grip primers and top coats, G line for those that know!
All brushed in super jet black at Quayside Marine Ltd in Lymington.

Rib craft 6.5 rib with a breakdown of gelcoat and under lying fibreglass.
Grind back, repair, apply new fibreglass & gelcoat. Faired to perfection and a good old polish to highlight how good I am!!

Some before, during and after shots of newly fitted faux teak decks. We had a few complications but got there in the end.
This is a great option if your decks are old and crusty.

Asked to make a free standing Mizzen mast for a Roxanne Romily 26ft.
I’ve not done something like this before, but thoroughly enjoyed the process.

The reason we check our keel nuts and bolts.
Corrosion had eaten up to 20% of the A2 stainless factory fitted nuts. 2 nuts weren’t tight let’s say.
All nuts and washers replaced with A4 marine grade stainless steel, tightened and checked twice

Here we have a full keel restoration.
All keel bolt nuts replaced due to corrosion.
We first had the keel sand blasted to remove all coatings and any rust. 2 coats of Anti rust treatment applied, followed by 3 coats of epoxy, filled, faired and followed up with 6 more coats of epoxy to provide a long lasting protection. Then finally a light sand then primed and anti-fouled.

A beautiful Romily had some love and a new Awl-grip Topcoat has been applied to the cabin and cockpit.
For a 17 year old boat she looks amazing.

A Salcombe Net boat, Built in 2000.
Strip and Varnish the Gunwale &
Bench seats. Varnished in Epifanes gloss Varnish for a long lasting durable finish.

Stripping of Antifouling & rust treatment on the keel. Filled,& faired the keel in underwater epoxy filler then epoxy to Finnish before Antifouling
All done in our friendly workshop in Lymington

Whitthall Passarelle/Crane.
Epoxied Plywood bases covered with a Faux Teak Deck Matt’s made to look like the real thing. Fitted to existing passerelle.
A good alternative to Teak and a lot less cleaning. -repairs
