Now shut down until early December with the national Lockdown but open again in December with the
bike hire open over Christmas.

Autumnal Cycling in the Lake District..... its been a great back end with lots of dry warm weather between the usual downpours. But now we are locked down until eaglet December when we will reopen . Yes we will be open over the Christmas festivities for everyone who want to get out on hire bikes in....

Always open for bike hire, customers enjoyed the mild dry weather over Christmas and New Year to explore the quiet Lakeland lanes on bike.Even adding a bike trailer to haul the kids round the roads and trails.

The winter training on my Tacx turbo trainer must be going well as i have just recorded the fastest time round the lake[Coniston Water] ever, in the hot February calm weather! 1 hour 3 mins on my Enigma Excell titanium bike, Lowick to Lowick.No time to stop for a photo this was taken the same day by Emma.

Training for the Fred Whitton 2019?

Brrr, it's freezing today up here in the Lakes with snow on the mountains and ice everywhere. Still now is the time to jump on the indoor trainer and keep safe indoor training.Im spending the winter inside on my Tacx trainer as often I come out of the winter fitter than with road work during the summer. The Tacx films have one entitled the Lake District which includes Hardknott Pass,Wyrnose Pass and Kirkstone Pass and gives a good idea of what half of the "Fred" is like.
