Mark started the build of a Loch Boat. Since every space at the workshop has been taken up. The build takes place in his Dad's old workshop in Loggie. It's a bit restricted to move around the boat. Also not easy to take pictures.

Regina is restoring a small sgoth. The boat was built by John Murdo MacLeod, last of the great boatbuilders of Ness, Isle of Lewis, with his father around 1947. They'd built a few dinghies after John Murdo came home from service and he 'encouraged' his father to build a small sgoth type boat. It was bought by his uncle in Skigersta, supplied with mast and sail.
