Well I never thought I’d be writing this post but with the cost of fuel going crazy and even the local station being out of fuel electric it is now for Enlim

Deliveries may be delayed as we stop and charge but I’m sure you will all understand we are aiming for net zero

New green livery to reflect our commitment to electric will be seen on the road soon

Treat people the way you would want to be treated is how we work here.

Our driver( 40 year experience of driving these vehicles) had just loaded and stopped at the farm road end as two tractors loaded with bales passed by heading towards Cuminestown.

Once they were passed he joins the main road and could see coming towards him a manitou telescopic which is across the white line and is going to hit him

He tries to make the driver of the manitou aware that he is going to hit the lorry but he hasn’t noticed what is about to happen

Our driver gets himself as far into the side of the road as he can and stops. The impact of the contact is now the rear of the bulk trailer thankfully rather than the cab and the driver.

Knowing the driver of the manitou was related to the farmer he had met in the tractors and knowing who they all were no police were involved - FIRST MISTAKE

SECOND MISTAKE - believing the farmer when we phoned him and was told to get a quote for repairing the trailer and we will get it sorted out.

Well months later ( September it happened ) and disputing the facts of the incident he offers to pay 50% of the repair costs😡😡😡😡😡

No witnesses and no dash cam as our vehicle was being sold so the camera had been taken out.

Business is hard enough without local people treating one another in this way

If you are around the Cuminestown area be aware they are on the road all the time.

‼️TRACTOR RUN ROUTE AND CHOSEN
CHARITY 2025‼️

The route is the same as last year so hopefully you can all choose your favourite viewing point! 👀 👍

We will have helpers at key points along the way with collection buckets, raising funds for our chosen charity
All funds raised from tractors/lorries entering the run, as well as donations from all you kind people around the route will be donated to the charity. Your support of this event means so much to us all.

🎄‼️ THE ROUTE ‼️
Starting at Burnside Grain Store 6.30 pm
Into Turriff to roundabout, turn left onto High Street, then straight onto Balmellie Street.
Turning right onto Crown Street, following the road round onto Balmellie Road. Continue out past the hospital and then out past Smiddyseat. At the end of that road, turn left to head to Cuminestown. At the junction on the Turriff-Cuminestown road, at Castle of Auchry, turn right. Head into Cuminestown, up through Cuminestown. At top of Cuminestown, turn left down Stanries Brae. Head up through the Garmond. At the far end of the Garmond, turn right to come back down to the New Byth road. Carry up through New Byth, then turn left onto the road towards Woodlea Caravan Park. When you get to the junction on the A98 turn left back towards Turriff and head back to Burnside Grain Store. The route is 19.7 miles in total
