Had a long drive to get to us? The last thing you need is a week of long drives to get to the beach.
Whilst we're blessed with a perfect location to explore all of Cornwall here at Croft Farm HQ, sometimes - and especially at the crazy height of the season - the "it's about a 40 minutes drive" mantra can also include our local slice of heaven, Perranporth, not 2miles down the road. And if you factor in trying to park...
Anyway, the friendly team at Coastal Trail Cycle Hire have come up with the ideal solution: with the Goonhavern-Perranporth multi-use trail freshly opened, you can literally cycle safely from our gates all the way down to the beach. All you need to do is book your bikes with them, they'll drop them off, and then pick them up when you're holiday/hire period is over. Simple!
And, if a bike's not for you, the trail also makes for a nice pleasant walk into Perranporth, too - as some of you may have found in the past, the main roads can be a little hairy when you're travelling them Shanks's pony. It's definitely a huge relief to have a nice, safe, path.
On the subject of ponies... horses are also allowed on the trail but, seeing as we don't cater for them here right now, you'll just have to stick with your dogs.
***disclaimer*** we are NOT suggesting you try and ride your dog down into Perranporth, no matter how big he/she is, or how small you are - walk the dogs, ride the bikes. 😂
