Kirsty from Release Ayrshire will be coming along to the Troon Men's Shed meeting on Monday 7th September 2026 to talk about how Release Ayrshire began, the work they currently do within our communities, and the support and resources that are available. She will also speak about their free, confidential 24/7 mental health text support service and some of their current projects.

Release Ayrshire is a local men’s mental health and su***de prevention charity, founded in 2018 following the loss of several local men to su***de. They work across Ayrshire to raise awareness, challenge the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and make sure people know where and how to access support.

Any man aged over 18 years of age is welcome to come along to the meeting and to find out more about Troon Men’s Shed which is free to join. Tea and coffee is available.
