Position: Admin & Accounts Assistant

Duties to include:
- Answering the phone to customers
- Booking in vehicle hire
- Taking details of transport work and passing over to the transport manager
- Taking payments over the phone
- Invoicing (previous experience of QuickBooks is desirable)
- Credit control
- Organisation of weekly schedule
- Dealing with insurance claims
- Assisting to keep paperwork for vehicles up to date

Position: HGV Truck Mechanic
Location: Long Marston
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 08:30am – 17:30pm
Salary: Negotiable on experience
Start Date: Immediate

Duties to include:
- Conducting Inspections
- Responsible for mechanical and electrical repair
- Preventative maintenance
- Modification of a fleet and customer vehicles
- Attendance to vehicles on customer premises & breakdowns
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all HGV vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts
- Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard
- Identify possible warranty claims and escalate these to the appropriate persons

Skills to include:
- HGV workshop experience
- Work to a high standard and have a good eye for detail with a methodical approach to their work
- Clear report writing
- Outstanding Diagnostic skills
- Work well in a team or use own initiative if working alone
- HGV Class 1 licence is an advantage

Duties to include:
- Valeting vehicles
- Meet and greet customers
- Checking hire vehicles in and out
- Vehicle delivery and collections
- Light mechanical duties such as checking tyre pressures/fluid levels, changing bulbs/fuses.
- Dealing with sales of used vehicles
- General body maintenance of vehicles
- Organising and administrating de-hire/damage charges ready for invoicing
