Last week the office was feeling extra festive as we combined Secret Santa with a day wearing Christmas jumpers or pyjamas. As you can see, pyjamas won the day! 🎅🎁

It was a great laugh and some brilliant gifts were exchanged. Overall, the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.

A big thank you to everyone who got involved and helped make the day such a fun way to celebrate the season.🎄✨

🚛 Did you know? BCD has its own growing fleet of genset trailers, which are ideal for haulage of refrigerated containers (reefers).

These trailers feature integrated generators that provide an independent power supply, offering greater control over long distance transit and ensuring the integrity of perishable goods.
Additionally, they have twist-lock compatibility for standard ISO containers.

The acquisition of genset trailers is part of our broader investment in fleet versatility – giving our customers dependable, quality solutions in temperature-controlled haulage.

Members of the BCD Logistics team were pleased to visit the newly opened Certas Energy bunker in Warrington. Thanks to Mike Heaton and the rest of the Certas team for inviting us to be a part of the unveiling.

This is a fantastic facility that strengthens the refuelling infrastructure across the M62 corridor, where many of our operations take place between Manchester and Liverpool. 👏

This site will play a valuable role in supporting our fleet’s efficiency and sustainability efforts. We’re especially pleased to see that HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is available on-site.

It’s encouraging to see companies investing in infrastructure that supports the haulage industry’s transition to cleaner, more sustainable fuels. 🌍

As part of our sustainability initiative, we've been dedicating more trucks to run exclusively on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). Usage of this fuel reduces CO2 emissions by up to 90%. 🚛

Last weekend, our very own Jim Baker completed the Alzheimer's Research UK Walk for a Cure, where he covered an impressive 42km (26 miles) and raised £591 for such an amazing cause.
