Over the course of just one season, a yachts superstructure, fittings and rigging can endure tremendous amounts of force and tension through the sail.

In extreme conditions this can be equivalent to 3,000 lbs.
This, coupled with the corrosive nature of the sea air, exacerbates metal fatigue causing the connecting bolts to fail much quicker.

For this reason, it is imperative that fittings are checked and maintained on a regular basis.

From a leaky cleat all the way up to a new windlass, we can ensure any deck fittings are properly installed to withstand the harsh environments they’ll come up against.
