What's the Story in Balamory...

A wee reminder that filming is taking place in and around the pontoons, scheduled for Monday 27th July.

On Tuesday 28th filming shall be taking place at Aros Pier and Pontoon.

We then have our favorite event of the year West Highland Yachting Week with 80 boats currently taking part.

Arrival from mid afternoon Wednesday 29th July, racing on Thursday and returning mid afternoon, departing Friday 31st July!

THURSDAY 23rd JULY (tomorrow!)

MV Ocean Victory has requested to visit Tobermory which has now been confirmed via the ships agent!

She is due to arrive in the bay from 0700hrs with ship to shore tendering of her 130 guests to commence thereafter.
Departing 1800hrs.

Around 40 guests shall be visiting Duart Castle in the morning, with the remaining 90 on walking tours around the town.

You may have seen this vessel popping into the bay from time to time, early morning, over the last couple of years but this is the first time she will be disembarking guests!

We wish all guests and staff an enjoyable visit!!

📢UNSCHEDULED CRUISE SHIP 📢

TUESDAY 23RD JUNE 2026

MS Ambition has requested to visit Tobermory which has now been confirmed via the ships agent!

She is due to arrive at 0800hrs with ship to shore tendering of her 1200 guests commencing shortly thereafter. Departing 1800hrs.

We are awaiting a reply if they have managed to plan any excursions out of the town and shall update as soon as we can.

We look forward to welcoming crew and guests to Tobermory and wish them a great visit!

As always, cruise ships are liable to last minute changes/cancellations and we shall announce as soon as we have had confirmation of this via the ships agent.
