It's always a privilege to work alongside the first-class team at The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead. As the official shipping agents for Hickstead, we ensure all of the international riders and their horses arrive safely and efficientlyβ€”and make it home again just as smoothly. β›΄οΈπŸš›βœˆοΈ

This year we were proud to assist riders travelling with over 90 horses from Brazil, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, France, Canada, Colombia, Spain and the USA. 🌍🐴

A huge congratulations to Team GB on winning the Nations Cup! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ† It was fantastic to watch some of our clients proudly represent their country with some incredible performances.

Please see below information from APHA relating to travel via Hook of Holland.

Update - Hook of Holland

Further to yesterday's email regarding the closure of the Calais Border Control Post (BCP), you may wish to consider whether the Hook of Holland BCP is a suitable alternative for your consignments. This BCP remains open.
For consignments of day-old chicks and hatching eggs, please ensure you follow the required timetable:
β€’ You must notify the BCP by email at [email protected] 48 hours before arrival to confirm your consignment is scheduled.
β€’ Government veterinarians operate only in the morning, so your Export Health Certificate must be uploaded on TRACES before midday on the day before arrival.
β€’ Please note that Hook of Holland BCP does not operate at weekends.
As with all exports, we strongly recommend that you continue to check directly with your BCP of entry prior to dispatch to ensure there are no local changes or additional requirements.

Calais BCP for live animals closed due to heat

Defra have been informed that the Calais Border Control Post for live animals is currently closed due to high temperatures, until further notice.
While it is unlikely that exports of horses are taking place in these conditions, please be aware that this closure also applies to other consignments requiring live animal controls, including commodities such as day-old chicks.
We have not received similar notifications from other Border Control Posts at this stage, you are advised to check directly with the BCP of entry before dispatching any consignments.
We will provide a further update as soon as we receive more information.
