Döhle Yacht Crew are seeking a Chef/Stewardess to join an 80ft private sailing catamaran operating on a dual-season itinerary. This is a hands-on role where flexibility and teamwork are essential, as all crew members are expected to assist across departments.

The ideal candidate will have experience cooking for owners and guests, preparing healthy meals for crew, and provisioning in remote locations. In addition to culinary responsibilities, the Chef/Stewardess should be happy to assist with stewardess duties when required. Atlantic crossing experience is desirable.

Döhle Yacht Crew are recruiting temporary positions for a 100m motor yacht currently located in US waters. Candidates will be required to join the vessel on 8th December. While the onboard period will be approximately 12 days plus travel days, successful candidates will be issued a one month contract and flexibility is required should the onboard period be extended.

During this time, the yacht will remain alongside, and candidates will assist in preparing the vessel for upcoming operations.

Applicants must be US citizens due to location and compliance requirements and have relevant experience and qualifications for the position applied for. Candidates for Officer/Engineer roles will require Unlimited CoC's. Professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to work as part of a large team are essential.

In November, we had an inspiring visit to our UK office from Evie Rogerson. Evie is a young Optimist sailor and the creative mind behind The Crazy Cow!

Evie blew us away with her confidence, passion for sailing, and the ambitious goals she’s chasing. At just 10 years old, she’s already launched an innovative business to help sailors everywhere visualise and practise racing tactics off the water.

With the help from her Dad and a 3D printer, she has created the Top Tactics kit – complete with boats, marks, and course cards, which is a brilliant hands-on tool for sailors, coaches, and parents. It turns racing concepts into something you can see, touch, and understand, whether you’re at home or at a sailing clinic.

We love what Evie is doing to make sailing fun, accessible, and confidence-building for young sailors.

Döhle Yacht Crew are seeking an experienced Build Captain to oversee the extensive renovation of a historical sailing yacht, likely to take place near Barcelona, Spain. The project is expected to last 1–2 years, with the potential for the role to transition into a full-time Captain position upon completion of the refit.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of historical yacht refits, preferably with experience on composite yachts (wooden planking on metal frames). Strong technical understanding, project management skills, and the ability to work closely with shipyard teams and contractors are essential. The Captain must be willing to be based in Spain for the duration of the project and take a hands-on approach to ensure the yacht is restored to the highest standards.

This is a unique opportunity for a professional with a passion for classic yachts and heritage projects, offering long-term career potential.
