Our veg patch teatowels are proving popular at the moment - I thought they’d be the summer favourite but despite the change in seasons it seems to be a firm choice at the moment - but who wouldn’t love some pesky bunnies stealing the veg 🐰. Should we bring back the vegetable Christmas decorations this year?

I’m just going to put this little oyster catcher here to brighten up your day ☀️

Wouldn’t be me without the animal facts attached though - did you know that oyster catchers are wadding birds mostly seen in seaside and water environments have adapted to now live/ nest in gravel pits, farmland and even urban spaces like car parks - well I guess as they live up to 40 years it makes life a bit more interesting

As we reopen from our summer break it’s been so lovely to take time to focus on what’s important to us.

Having a breather made us realize - our little business is 20 years old! 20 years of designing and making! 20 years of ups and downs! But look how far we’ve come!

We might be small but we are strong and we are here to stay!

It wouldn’t have been possible without the support from all those that have followed us on our journey but biggest thanks to the family - who have shown support throughout ❤️ here’s to 20 years 🥂

This beauty went off to its forever home last week and I’m so pleased it found “its person” - I absolutely love it when someone finds one of my shades and falls in love with it (que happy dance and warm/ fuzzy feeling)- so much passion, time and energy goes into each shade and I always hope that someone else will love it as much as I’ve enjoyed making it - I think the lady that bought it did as she walked straight in the shop and wanted it 🦔🍓❤️ time for more lampshade making I reckon 🛋️

It’s been such a busy summer for us which has been absolutely amazing but it’s time for our little summer break (much needed) The shop both physical and online will be taking a week and a bit off (back open on 15th) all orders will be dispatched once we are back so sorry for the delay in getting those out.

Thank you to those that continue to stick around, those that have been patient with me recently and to those that continue to follow our journey - I wish I had more time in a week to focus on all aspects of running these little businesses of mine - fingers crossed having some time out to reset and refocus will get us back on track for what we hope will be a busy few months ahead ❤️

Monday morning and I’m strangely feeling a little discombobulated. This is usually the morning the other half and I do a gym session, brunch out and time to ourselves but he’s travelling abroad and racing for the next 7.5 weeks and where I thought I’d love time to myself, my whole routine is thrown - not only that but it’s hot and I’m planning Christmas 🤯
I feel like today may be a day that I start a lot and don’t really achieve a lot… so what better image to reflect how I feel than our most popular picture EVER - our startled pheasant - this is me today, hoping my brain gets back on track later 🤯
