****CLASS 1 Job Opportunity****

AQ Logistics has a Class 1 vacancy become available.
Experience in flats, Extenders, Step Frames, steering trailers and Wafer decks an advantage but not essential for the right candidate.

Must be Reliable, presentable, and have a good attitude to work.
Usual tramping week Sunday/Monday through until Friday/Saturday but we do work 24 hours a day 7 days a week and overtime is always available if wanted.

You will be required to work Days and nights when required, European work is sometimes required so Passport would be required.
The flats often work alongside the Hiabs so being a team player is a must.

We pay overtime after 8 hours a day (40 Hours)

AQ Logistics require Class 1 & 2 Hiab Operators.

AQ Logistics is a longstanding, family-run specialist transport company looking for a Class 1 & 2 Driver / HIAB Operators to join our highly experienced existing team.

We operate a fleet of 14 Lorry mounted cranes from our depot in Thirsk and provide a reliable, professional transport service to many different sectors from Railway infrastructure to communications, construction and renewable energy.

We currently operate 17 trucks with 40+ different types of trailers from flats, extenders, rear steering and urban steering trailers.
Experience in extendable loads and steer trailers is required for the class 1 vacancy.

We cover the whole of the UK, Ireland and do some occasional work in mainland Europe.
Drivers are required to do an average of 4 - 5 nights out per week, be presentable, professional and take pride in what they do, we like the “Can do” attitude and the trucks & trailers need to be kept immaculate.

You are not a number here, we have an open door policy and genuinely like to look after our employees.

Weekend work and nightshifts is a large part of our customers requirements so overtime is always available.

Lorry loader (HIAB) experience/qualification is desired.

Class 1 or 2 HGV licence is essential with a minimum of 2 years HGV driving experience within the UK.
