Tenbury Transport Trust We operate a Car Scheme, Minibus routes and also have a Wheelchair Accessible Car.

Could you give a little something back to your community by driving our wheelchair-accessible car (WAV) to help those with no access to transport?

Drive the WAV (a normal, manual car with a wheelchair ramp in the back) taking both ambulant passengers and wheelchair users to hospitals, doctors, opticians, shopping, visiting family etc.

Full training provided. Full UK licence required.

Next Wednesday, 2nd September, we are running a trip to The Judge's Lodging, Presteigne, The Judge’s Lodging is a beautifully preserved Victorian courthouse and living history museum that offers a unique glimpse into 19th-century legal and domestic life. Housed inside the 1829 Radnorshire Shire Hall, this award-winning attraction features a rare, completely interactive "hands-on" policy, allowing you to sit in the judge’s chair, explore the plush judicial apartments, and pump water in the servant quarters. Fully restored to its 1870s appearance and illuminated by authentic gas lighting, the building contrasts the luxurious lifestyle of the visiting magistrates with the bleak reality of the damp basement prison cells below. An immersive audio guide brings the halls to life through the voices of past residents, making it a captivating destination for history enthusiasts.
We will be departing Tenbury at 10am, a couple of hours to explore the museum then a refreshment stop on the way home at Megs Cafe, Shobdon Airfield.

🐮🐏Keith's 2nd trip took him and the residents from Churchill House Nursing Home to Burwarton Show, judging by the smiles on every ones faces they all had a jolly fun day out!

🚌Community use of the Minibus🚌
Our minibuses are available to not-for-profit organisations and community groups for trips and excursions and can be driven by one of our fantastic team of volunteer minibus drivers, or by a member of the group, provided they undertake a 1 hour permit test (at a small fee chargeable to the group) and have the appropriate classification on their driving licence. Last week our fabulous volunteer, Simon, took a group of clients along to Westonbury Watermill and Water Gardens Pembridge, the weather was perfect for exploring the gardens followed by some delicious refreshments in their cafe.
One of our regular clients, Christine, gave a lovely review and took some great snaps while she was there! 📸
