Flew Into Heathrow Airport from Rome Tuesday evening with BA Passport control a complete mess
Traveling public left zigzagging up the hall,all the electronic checkpoints closed and one manual counter open Eventually a suit turned up and opened up the electronic checkpoints to clear the backlog.UK Border Control need to step up.
Also issues at Security with only one belt running on the luggage X-ray ,one of our party left shaken by the manor and game playing of the operative checking the hand luggage and sealed gift purchased in Rome duty free.
Despite being secured in a tamper proof bag with the receipt clear of see the Gentleman having swabbed the items and the luggage 3 times he ripped open the secured bag and we forced to open the sealed gift box. Only stopped his games when a supervisor who we approached stepped in and told him to stop.
Two 50+ UK citizens treated with contempt, but was there other issues? Clearly we understand the need for security however this took things to another level
Caught our flight with minutes to spare but no opportunity to use the facilities or even get a drink.

Good to see Perth Leisure Pool looking great after the short closure which saw a range of different contractors working flat out to upgrade facilities both on the poolside and in the engine room. Pleased to have played as part of the work
