Today’s delivery of liquid gold has just arrived. Fuel has risen 30ppl in the last three days. That’s approximately £1.50 per gallon. Not a major issue in that sense, but when a coach does approximately 7 mpg. When your day trip is 400 miles that’s £100 ish increase on your trip. £££ the costs are increasing.

Our first 2026 delivery arrived today. This year we’ve added a Yutong GT12 53 seater executive coach to the fleet, which has replaced our 2020 Yutong 37 seater. The new coach features include at seat USB sockets, 240v sockets, DVD player and twin monitors, toilet, radio PA etc. it will be out and about on our private hires shortly when we have prepared it for service.

Nether Stowe 103, 105 and 108 services.

ATLP strike action Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th January. Our services will operate as normal as they are registered services and share several schools in the Lichfield area. Nether Stowe has revised opening times for students that still need to go into school on the above dates. Please be aware the schools opening times will be different to the bus arrival and departure times which will operate as the normal timetable. We will advise on services for the upcoming strike days over the next few weeks as they occur.

Friday 9th January 04:30 update. All services are suspended currently until at least 9am. We will review again at 8am and update. Road conditions are still poor, side roads and rural roads unfit currently. Several school closures have already been notified including The Polesworth School. All Fox Connect services suspended until at least 9am. Safety of staff, customers and other road users is of importance.

Snow Update. We intend to carry out a check at 04:30 Friday 9th before our first buses depart at 05:30 and see how the weather is looking. Please check before setting out. Our services cover a wide area of Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. Whist we can check the immediate locality initially it may be some time before we get the full picture. Any school closures, please check you local authority websites for latest updates. Stay safe and only travel if absolutely essential.

Changes to our 12A, 12B and 12E take effect from Monday 5th January 2026. From this date we will only operate the Sunday daytime 12E with other operators taking over our AM and PM journeys Monday to Saturday on a similar timetable. The schooldays only 12A and 12B will be revised routes and timetables as shown below. The 12A schooldays will no longer start or return to Lichfield as it had done previously.

We are an award winning Tamworth based coach and mini bus hire company. Established in 1999 as a small family business we have continued to grow and serve the Tamworth/West Midlands area for over 20 years. Our fleet is modern and well maintained in our own workshops. We have a selection of vehicles from 12 to 70 seats for local or distance hire. We over a number of wheelchair accessible vehicles from one chair to multiple chairs. Our coaches are clean modern and comfortable. We are upgrading our vehicles to Euro 6 emissions which is the latest specification allowing us to visit many towns and cities introducing Clean Air Zones. Our drivers are all DBS checked to enhanced level and we work with several local authorities providing home to school transport, special needs transport and private hire. We also provide demand responsive transport on behalf of Warwickshire County Council and rail replacement services for most of the countries rail franchises.
