I'm getting a lot of hate lately for the price of sofas so I just wanted to explain. This is a local waste transfer prices below. Sofas are hazardous waste so now we occur charges on top of the tipping cost which is (£300 per tonne) per sofa so after getting your sofa out, into the van, fuel, labour charhers etc i still have to pay £50 on top of my fees to dispose of just 1 3 seater sofa and 9/10 they won't let you tip as its full. If I take multiple that weighs a tonne it cost me £600 to dispose of them. I don't want to charge the prices I do trust me I miss the days of £30 per sofa but its so expensive atm but I'm not ripping people off so please don't keep hanging up on me 🙈 i am always trying to find alternatives.
